I am 16 years old, and I want to learn how to speak the Japanese language. It would be great to learn how to read/write it also, but I am not asking for that. I plan on going to Japan for a long time after Highschool, and perhaps even majoring in Asian studies. So I think knowing this language will help me a lot. As for time, I can arrange any times with the tutor, but I am very dedicated to learning, and want to meet at least 3 days a week. I am usually not very busy, other than school from 7:50am-2:45pm . For qualities in the teacher, I look for someone who fully knows and understands everything about the language, and someone who has expierience in teaching. Also, someone who is nice! Hehe.

My teenage daughter has been very interested in Japanese language and culture for about 3 years. She'd love to learn the language, but it is unavailable in her school. I'd be especially interested in finding an opportunity for her for the summer of 2008. Ideally, I'd like to see her learn in person with one or more other teens, but would be open to other options. She's a quick learner when motivated, and her sustained interest leads me to believe she'd work at this.

I haven't even started learning it yet a would just like to learn so I can visit it one day I don't have any personal request for a teacher as long as its someone who is willing to teach me and wont costs me too much money if any at all. i am willing to spend as much time as it takes to master the language cause id like to also learn the Thai and Korean languages thanks will take any and all the help i can get thank you
