Having graduated with a Bachelor of Arts- Mass Communication (PR and Journalism) from Murdoch University, Western Australia, I am currently working as a PR executive in a multinational PR company in SG. I learnt French when I was younger, and am keen to go back to the language again now that I am supporting myself. My picking up French is not just to enhance my qualification s, but also because of my love for the language (and one learns faster when there is great interest).
I enjoy French culture, and visited the beautiful country before taking up a French language course shortly after my O' Levels in 1999. That was nearly 6 years back, and i don't intend to return to France until I can speak the language with confidence and ease.
I loved taking French conversation classes but did not think it was substantial enough. To me, understanding a language equals knowing how to formulate sentences with the correct grammar and tenses; and few courses offer that.
I am willing to learn as a beginner if any teacher out there believes in inculcating grammar usage and training me to write and speak at the same time.
I am looking for a teacher who charges 35-40 per hour and is willing to teach week nights (as I am working). Please do not hesitate to contact me if you happen to be looking for students. Merci beaucoup!

I would consider myself a moderate to advanced beginner--esp ecially in reading. In understanding spoken French I am more on the beginner level. I have traveled to France twice in the last two years and was able to communicate with the French people in their language (but on very simple basis). I would like to become more proficient in conversationa l French as well as improving my grammatical skills.

I would like to take french lessons as a beginner, with a small group once or twice a week. I visit my brother in Laussane, Switzerland.
