I'm a total beginner.
I' m looking to speak Chinese for a number of different reasons. First, I'm going to have Olympic business in China over the next four years and I want to be able to have some communication skills when I'm over there.
Secon dly, I plan on spending a number of upcoming vacations in the Far East.
Lastly , I spent my formative years living in Vancouver and I have quite a few friends who speak Chinese and would like to be apart of future conversations .
