I have spent some time in both Brazil and Portugal and I really love the culture and language of both these countries. I am thinking of working in a field where I have to use Portuguese in professional conversations .
I do speak Portuguese already but I never had formal classes, I just picked it up while living in Brazil. Therefore, my conversationa l skills are okay but I have significant flaws in the areas of grammar and non-everyday vocabulary.
I want to invest about 2-3 hours a week into learning Portuguese, I also want it to be personal classes and not online tools or video conferencing. I would prefer my teacher to be a native speaker from Portugal, and to have a structured approach to teaching rather than just random conversations , because I want to make sure I understand and properly learn the grammar.

I was born in Turkey to an American mother and a Turkish father, but we moved to the United States when I was 3 years old. I know a few words of Turkish, that's it. I have been traveling to Turkey a bit for work the last few years, and it made me realize how much I would like to speak the language of my birth country! I speak French and some Russian, I have always loved languages. The problem for me is that I am an English speaker in Holland, so it may be difficult to find a teacher who can teach me turkish through english instead of dutch. I work a lot, but my schedule can be flexible.

I have been very interested in Russian culture and language and think it beneficial career-wise to have another language at my disposal. I would describe myself as a beginner although I can read and write Cyrillic and have built a certain level of vocabulary and grammar. It's just getting the cases right, which affects nouns and adjectives which I find complex. I want to build up proficiency in speaking and a general conversation. My times are pretty flexible and I could spend at least 4 to 5 hours a week studying. I would preferably have a native Russian teacher who is aware of the specific customs and formalities when conversing with potential clients.
