I'm want to learn basic Japanese before going to a trip to Japan. I am a beginner (all I can say is my name is...), so I will need a lot of help. I am looking to learn Business level language. I speak fluent Spanish and French, but I need to learn Business language. I speak High level conversationa l Japanese and I read kana, but I need to learn Business Japanese and Kanji. I speak basic Tagalog, and have a lot of room for improvement.
I am keen to move abroad again. I specifically want to pass JLPT-2 and DELF-B2 (or higher).

My 10 year old son and I are interested in learning Japanese. We are taking a trip to Japan this summer and would like to be able to try conversing a little. We would like to have one to two lessons per week until we leave on June 23rd. We are beginners.

I would like to learn Japanese for both personal and career advancement. My entire life I have been amazed and interested in the Japanese language, but living where I do, my resources are slim. I intend on getting my associates or bachelors in English to apply to the JET program to teach elementary Japanese students English.
My proficiency would have to be beginner, I know very few phrases and words; my hirigana and katakana are both mediocre. Both grammar and conversation are beginner.
I'd like to spend as much time as my two jobs till allow, approx 14 hours a week
I'm looking for an instructor who will push me and make me keep going even after I'm frustrated.
