Dear potential teacher.
My name is Elizabeth and I am seeking a mandarin teacher for a short term series of lessons, once or twice a week. I am going to Taiwan in late January and would like to improve my language skills before I go. I have completed an 8 week course and have some basic knowledge. Preferable I am looking for a native speaker or someone who had visited the area because I want to work on a good accent and natural expression. I look foreward to hearing your reply.

I've been in Singapore twice in a row and I immediately became interested in Mandarin language. I believe that it would be an advantage if i know how to speak/write Mandarin. Our family is into real estate business. It would help me a lot especially in dealing with singaporean clients. i could easily establish a good rapport with them and hopefully if i decided to stay in SG, i could find a job there.
I'v e got a very busy schedule so maybe a month or two would be enough for me to learn the basics of Mandarin. My teacher should be a very qualified tutor.
