I wish to learn Hindi to travel to India before I enter into medical school. I have never taken Hindi before. I would dedicate a lot of time (example: my GPA is 3.91 at UIC which is only 2 B's in my freshman semester).
I am looking for a teacher who is organized, understands how to teach, and is willing to put forth the effort to help me learn and speak Hindi.

Hi,
I'm looking to learn hindi for a few reasons. One being I love the Indian culture and I am planning to visit India. I have in the past learned a little bit here and there from friends...and also from the hindi films. I would however like to learn how to communicate effectively; through speaking and listening.
Technically I would guess I'm classed as a beginner.
Looking for someone who lives within the GTA...the closer to me the better though. As far as how much time I would be willing to dedicate would all depend on the schedule of the teacher. But certainly on a weekly basis for sure.

I am wanting to learn Hindi, because my husband and my friends are all from India, and it would be nice to communicate better with them. For now, I have the mornings free up until 1pm. I think it would be best if I started as a beginner. I am looking for a teacher that is patient and that can customize lesson plans specifically for me.
