I have recently moved to Pune and want to learn Hindi to enable me to converse with locals, get by when out shopping and to negotiate better rickshaw prices. I will be finding a job in the near future but for now I'm available every week day and I'm willing to set aside a couple of hours each day to learn. I've been told Hindi is the language to learn but I'm open to discuss if Hindi or Marathi would suit me better.

I am an Australian who is going to move to India for 1-2 years.
I would like to learn beginners Hindi, so that I can communicate through basic conversation. I dont need to learn writing Hindi at this stage. Just interested in conversation.
I work full time and live in Chelsea and I dont have a car. Therefore I am looking for either weekend classes or weeknights that are very close to chelsea.
