I am looking for an experience Mandarin teacher for group lesson (me, my husband and my children aged 8 and 5). I am from Hong Kong and can speak Mandarin (beginner)and read/write traditional Chinese. My family are all English speakers with no prior knowledge of Mandarin.
I would prefer a group lesson (1 to 1.5 hour)for all of us weekly.

Nin hao!
My name is Lisa and I've wanted to learn Mandarin after living in Asia for 5 months. I've picked up only a couple of words and sentences of different Asia languages, but I would like to get a decent grasp on the language (specifically Mandarin). I know China is becoming a leading player in our economy and I would love to have the ability to understand and communicate with people with this skill and knowledge.
My proficiency level would be beginner. Considering I am so, I would need help with grammar and conversation basics, and hopefully that will develop into a more intermediate practice.
I'd like to dedicate an hour per week to learning Mandarin.
The qualities I am looking for in a teacher are respect (for myself and time), patience and of a very kind character. I'd like them to be disciplined so as to encourage and push me to live up to my potential in understanding and communicating the language. I am a very hard-working and dedicated individual, and I'd like my teacher to illustrate the same qualities to me!
