I have taken four to five conversationa l french language classes - My husband and his family are native french speakers and my primary motivation in learning is to be able to speak to them in french and to educate our child in french and english. Secondarily language profiency in French could potentially provide career advancement. I need improvement on conversation I often can understand what i read and hear but struggle to make the hurdle to communicate myself. I believe one on one lessons or smaller group lessons may help - I would like to take lessons 1 to 2 times per week.

I have had some exposure to Italian, but am still at a beginner level. I often get the little Italian and the little Spanish that I know mixed up. I am looking to learn Italian because I have vacationed there many times, and now at 28 I want to live there for 6 months to a year. I could use the most help with Vocabulary building and conversation. Currently I have a lot of free time and am willing to dedicate as much as it takes. I am looking for someone who love the language and enjoys sharing it with other. Someone who can make it enjoyable yet still produce strong results.

I am interested in learning Spanish, French, and Arabic! I only have beginners knowlege in Spanish, I can read it much better then I can speak it. I am able to say very simple phrases but it doesn't come very naturally! I am looking to improve my accent in Spanish since I sound very gringa when speaking Spanish :).
I would love to dedicate as much time to learing these languages as my check book will allow. I understand that it is probably best to learn one and a time so I understand that this may take a while to become proficent in any of these languages.
I am looking to learn multiple languages because I think it is important in today's global society. I would also like to get a degree in international relations and I need to be proficent in a language before I can enter in the program. I would also like to work for the state department one day.
I am looking for a teacher with a lot of patience. I also have a very busy schedule with work and school during the week. I am open Friday nights as well as Saturday and Sunday early evenings. I am not sure if it is possible to find a tutor for these times, however I am in a LSAT prep class during the day and can not miss it.
If it is not possible to get weekend classes I would be willing to wait until I am out of school this summer to start but I would prefer to start before then.

My son would like to learn another language and after some discussion, he is interested in the Mandarin language. He is 11 years old and has taken Sanish for 5 years at school.
I think he will learn best in a private lesson, starting with once a week and perhaps increasing to two times per week over the summer.
