Hello! My husband and I are seriously interested in learning to speak French fluently. I am able to speak enough to get by in travel (my mother is a native speaker), and my husband has learned some French as well. We have a young son just learning his first words, whom we also want to learn French. (We intend for him to attend a French school).
W e are looking for a teacher who can teach us to speak in real life situations (i.e. 'Please sit down and eat your dinner', ect.), help us to improve our vocabulary and grammar. We would be available for one hour lessons each week and are prepared to study and practice daily between lessons.
W e are anxious to get started!

I am new to French, I only know a few phrases that were taught to me by those I know who are learning the language. I wish to learn french because I want to travel and possibly live in France and I want to be able to communicate to others easily. I am willing to dedicate as much time as needed in order to become fluent. The qualities that I am looking in a teacher is someone who is fun, making the language come alive and one who is passionate about teaching others what they know.

I have taken two and a half years of French at highschool. I would consider my level of French intermediate. I will be taking an advanced French course next year and I would like to be well prepared.
