I am interested in French lessons for my 9 yr old daughter and 3 yr old son. They have never had any formal language lessons. I would like them to have an edge in society as they grow older and come into a workforce that may have a need for multi-languag ed employees. I'm willing to work with a teacher 1hr twice a wk or 2 hrs once a wk. I need someone that has experience with younger children and make the lessons fun for them to learn.

I am always interested in languages so I am doing 3 languages currently. My French and Italian are fine but because I study Latin in the Open High School and the level of it is higher than mine, I am struggling a bit. I really want to carry on my Latin study because it helps my English and, because I plan to study linguistics and intend to direct myself to a career of literature, I need to improve it. In particular, I feel my Latin grammar and reading are really weak. I want to study Latin 1 or 2 hours everyday and if I can attend tutoring once or twice per week, each lasting for 2 hours, that's great. I am looking for a teacher who is responsible and kind to students, and has good knowledge in Latin. It's better that he/she has previous teaching experience and achievements.
