I have studied French for just over two years but it has been a while since I have had any formal lessons or the chance to practice it so I fear I may have lost some of what I know. I am learning the language because I travel a lot and I love to go to France, and want to be able to speak the language. Hello. My name is Cheryl and I am looking for a French tutor who is a native speaker, someone who can challenge me to be a better listener and speaker. I plan on taking a trip in May to a French-speaki ng country and it is imperative that I be prepared to speak French. I have already made the committment to read or listen to French at least one hour a day, but I am willing to extend the time necessary to prepare myself for my upcoming trip. Currently, I would consider myself an intermediate French student, and I am looking for a tutor who is willing and able to train me to listen for main ideas and who will give me a chance to respond freely, as I am usually shy to respond in French.
