My wife and I wish to learn french to at least a level at which we would feel confident enough conversing with native speakers if we were to travel in Europe (France). We are a mature couple over 50 who are now semi-retired. My wife is a native spanish speaker (Chile).I myself only speak English.We have the time and resources to learn privately at our own pace but we need to be flexible as sometimes our family need us.The teacher we are looking for would need to have professional qualification s and experience and prepared to tutor us in a relaxed and flexible way.

I am contemplating of doing my higher studies at INSEAD, Paris. I've also read/heard that french is a rich language and have lots of classics written in it. I've got enough time in the evenings which I thought I would spend it usefully. After all knowing another language is always a plus; thought I would use my time judiciously.
I am only looking for evening classes because I dont stay in b'lore during weekends.
