My proficiancy Level is between beginner and intermediate. The reason I am Learnin Romanian Is Mostly for myself because I am third generation romanian. I did know a little when I was a child but I lost it. my Mother used to speak fluently but after my great grandmoth passed away she refused to speak. I want to learn because It's Part Of who I am. and would also like to speak to People at church. I am Romanian Orthodox as well. the areas I Need Improvement is In Grammar and Conversation. I do fairly well In my vocabulary but would Like To learn More than what My Books show. I would Like To spend as Much Time as possible. But with work Probably at least an Hour a day and two hours on monday. The qualities I am looking for in a teacheris someone that Is patient. I do have a learning disability of expresive writing and auditory reacall. and over all that has a positive attitude.

Hello, I have recently married a wonderful english speaking man from Romania but when he speaks to his family or with his friends here, it is always in Romanian.I would really love to be able to talk to his family and friends better. I have been trying to study from books and CDs but I learn best from a real person telling me and showing me.I need to be able to ask questions when I don't understand. My husband is extremely smart but he is not a 'teacher',I need a teacher!!!
I am having a very hard time with grammer-gende rs,some vowel sounds,plural izing,tenses and sentence structure.I am also having a hard time because what is in my books is so formal and everyone else talks very casual.Please help me!!!
