I am not an absolute beginner as I have been listening to self-help courses in the car for a few years and using reference books from time to time.
I love to travel and enjoy it much more if able to converse with locals.
An evening class once a week is all I can dedicate.
I would like a personalized approach because there is much I don't know and quite a bit that I do know. I obviously would like to concentrate on that which I don't.

Hi,
I'm a student at carleton, taking a year off right now.
I'm planning on travelling to South America later this winter. I just want to pick up some very basic Spanish before i leave.
I would want to focus on conversation and areas that would be practical for a traveller. e.g. food, money, transportatio n.
I would want to meet with a teacher for one or two hours a week in the Carleton or downtown area.

I am an intermediate Spanish learner...I have also spent a few months in Spain back in the summer of 2003. I would like to fine tune my grammatical knowledge, but I would also like to converse with a native speaker. I have recently learned the subjunctive and am looking for someone to really practice my verb tenses with and just basically chit-chat with while learning. I am willing to do individual or group classes.
