I want to learn Hindi for educational purposes. I am a beginner and I have never learnt Hindi before. I want to dedicate atleast 2 hours per week to learning Hindi as I am still a high school student. I am looking for a qualified teacher that speaks English and can teach at my home. I wish to learn Hindi because I study an Indian yoga and visit northern India regularly, as well as I love learning languages. I have been learning Hindi for one year already, and have learnt the basics; I know basic grammar and I can read and write (at a beginner level). I need lots of one-on-one practise.
I would like to have one 90 min lesson a week.
I am looking for a teacher who is methodical and understands the structure of langauge, because this is how I learn best. I like to have things written down because I do not remember them if I only hear the words spoken.
