I am a beginning student with 1 year of French classes. However, during that year I spent 3 months in Paris. I also have a background in Latin.
I am learning French because I want to begin learning languages beside my native English. I particularly want to focus on conversationa l skills at this point- I am extremely uncomfortable with spoken French right now.
I am looking to spend an hour or two a week on lessons, and am looking for a teacher that will be meticulous with pronunciation .

My name is Carlos Guinan, I am originally from Venezuela and I came to the US on January 2001... Spanish is my first language and English has become the second one...
I have a fascination for languages, I really enjoy the the learning process of the new language because it let me go further and deeper for a better understanding of people's behaviors and cultures... Even though I don't know anything about French, I would like to make it my 3rd language, so, I am definitely a beginner; I would like to be able to learn grammar, conversation skills, including pronunciation , etc.
I have available everyday in the morning, the whole day on Monday and every other weekend, I work afternoons and nights 'till 11 pm
the expectations about my french teacher: well talented, full of good teaching techniques, fluent in french, available and responsible, moved more for the desires of teaching rather than the money that he or she could earned from teaching, patient, etc.
