I am looking to learn French because I will be taking a trip to France in March of 2013, and I'm hoping to develop at least a basic vocabulary for my travels. As well, I have a strong interest in the language and culture and have been looking to learn for a long time. I'm a novice, with little knowledge of the language. I am willing to dedicate one or two hours any weekday or weekend. I'm looking for an experienced teacher who is patient and enthusiastic about the language.

I am learning French because I am interested in the language and because I have close connections with people who live in France. I want to improve my French this summer before I visit in June.
I have only taken Elementary French, so I know the basics, but nothing more.
I need improvement with pronouncing words, especially knowing what the vowel sounds make, and I would like to improve more with conversation rather than writing and grammar, because I will be using that more during my trip to France.
I have a job and will be taking a summer class at college so my schedule will be tight, but I would like to at least have an hour lesson once a week or twice a week.
I am looking for a teacher with patience and knowledge who can assist me in furthering my knowledge efficiently.
