I wish to expand my knowledge of the spanish language so that I may communicate freely with native speakers in Latin America. My emphasis will be mostly on speach and vocabulary, which will work to naturally strengthen my reading and writing abilities. Verb conjugation and vocabulary should be my biggest challenge. I am thinking seriously of migrating to Mexico, so a teacher who has lived and/or learned there would be great.
I am ready to spend between 5 and 10 hours/week for a 2 to three month period depending on my progress.

Hello. I am a mature professional person with some moderate past experience in Spanish education.... having done an immersion course in Costa Rica and several short courses in Toronto, the most recent of which was in the autumn of 2004.
My current level is an probably an intermediate 1, and I do feel rather rusty.
I would like to learn for both personal and professional reasons, and will be spending time with some professional health projects in South America. Two hours per week is my availability for time for the lessons, and I would like private lessons or lessons with only 1-2 others maximum.
T he areas needing improvement are fairly general, including vocabulary and a desire for general conversationa l ability.
A native latin american teacher with humour, patience and an encouraging, friendly manner with some flexibility about times and location is preferable.
