I would like to be qble to communicate with the people around me. I took French as a child but I find it difficult to speak the language. I will be here for three weeks now and another three weeks at the end of the summer. I am not expecting to speak freely at the end of this time but I would like to be able to say some things and have simple conversations . My name is Julie. I am a 4th year, mature age student at Deakin Uni, studying arts/educatio n.
I wish to learn French. I would prefer private lessons, preferably on campus at Deakin in Burwood, either Monday or Wednesday afternoons. I would probably be looking at 2 hours per week.
I graduate at the end of this year and hope to travel and teach english in France, hence the need for French lessons!

I need instructions in basic French. I'm a first time French student, so I'll be needing much of the basic grammar and conversation skills. I need to learn as much as I can during the summer (now until end of July), preferably more than twice a week. I will learn either in a small class or by private tutorials, about 2hrs each session.
