I want to learn mandarin due to career advancement and able to communicate well with my relative in laws who were all Chinese. I am a beginner but I can speak and understand a bit mandarin because I stayed in Singapore for about 4years and my husband to be is a Chinese. My conversation needs an improvement. I'm looking to improve my spoken Mandarin skills as I'll be running a business here in China in the near future.
St rangely, my level of reading and writing (over 1000 characters) is better than my spoken Chinese and I'm currently about to finish studying 'Short Term Spoken Chinese' Elementary. I've heard that this is what the universities use as part of their degree course, but I'm not entirely sure.
I'll need to improve general overall speaking in conversation and well as business related.
P resently, I have Monday's and Tuesday's free and I'm willing to dedicate at least four hours each day over the two days.
I'm looking for a patient teacher that is not focused on speaking too much in class - as they tend to be in Asia.
