I am a beginner. I want to learn Cantonese primarily for personal benefit and interest, communicating with Cantonese friends, and for career benefits. I need improvement in all areas such as grammar AND conversation. I am working a full-time job but will seek to dedicate as much time to learning Cantonese as I can afford outside of work. I am looking for a teacher knowledgeable in Cantonese, a fluent speaker, and have experience in teaching.

I know no Chinese whatsoever. My wife speaks but does not write or read Cantonese. My goal is first to learn to speak and understand simple conversationa l Cantonese, and then maybe learn to read and write. Eventually, I will want my children to learn Cantonese in a reagular Chinese School program

I am involved in the apparel retailing business. I would like to learn to speak Spanish pretty well to better communicate with my vendors. I would like to learn to at least understand and speak a little Cantonese or Mandarin to better communicate with my vendors. I think that all 3 languages would benefit me in my career. I took French in high school & college and picked it up pretty easily and I think that a transition to Spanish would not be terribly difficult. I DO think that learning either Cantonese or Mandarin will be VERY DIFFICULT but I am not looking for fluency just conversationa l.

i would probably fit into the beginner category.. i'm currently working in Hospital Kuala Lumpur and often dealing with chinese patients.. it would be an advantage to learn cantonese as this language are more frequent been used by my chinese patients rather than mandarin.. i would like to be exposed more in the conversation areas.. i can dedicate myself about 1-2 hours for the lessons.. but it would be great if you can provide me regarding the cost of this classes
