I am a working professional and as such I am seeking professional tutoring for my staff members and I. We are all Beginners and have no formal training in Spanish.
I am hoping to have Spanish lessons taught to staff a minimum of 3 hours per week. Personally, given that I am slated to be elevated in a more senior managerial position, I am seeking spanish lessons a minimum of 5 hours per week as I would also like to embark upon learning French pending my progress with the Spanish language.
I am therefore seeking an individual that is punctual, patient, have a working knowledge of the Spanish language, flexible, and is able to work with staff members on their individual progress levels.

I am essentially a beginner, looking to learn Russian, so that I may travel next year to the town where my grandparents are from (in Belarus). I say 'essentially' because I took one semester of a UCLA Extension Russian class in 1990, before visiting that country.
Although I have a good flair for language (I speak French, Spanish, Italian; have also studied Hebrew and German), I cannot recall any of the Russian I learned.
I would like to work one-on-one, probably for 1 or 2 hours per week. My schedule is busy (aren't we all?!) and varies from week to week, but with advance notice can absolutely commit to my course of study.
I am looking for a teacher who is kind, affable, and a terrific teacher!

I am an American but my grandfather (whom I sadly never knew) was Ethiopian. He visited the US only a couple times - once when my father was conceived and once when my father was 12 years old.
My grandmother, on the other hand, was African-Ameri can. I don't know my Ethiopian grandfather's name, but I must look just like him.
I speak very little Amharic (tinish tinish) but want to learn enough to hold a concersation. Since I look Ethiopian (because of my grandfather) Ethiopians who I encounter from time to time speak to me in Amharic, assuming that I speak it, too. It's a little embarrassing when I cannot respond.
I know fidel characters pretty good and know how to pronounce all the sounds. I can learn words on my own, but need help more with forming sentences and responding to questions.
If you live in a different city or state, that's fine and face to face instruction is not that necessary.
Also, I am a business consultant here in Los Angeles and have a couple Ethiopian clients.
