I have recently retired to the Philippines and want to learn Tagalog in order to facilitate and enhance the experience. I speak fluent Spanish as well as my native English, so have a familiarity with many words in the language base. I do not need to attain full fluency through instruction, but would like to be able to effectively communicate.
I would imagine that to begin, we would be looking at three (minimum of two) lessons per week. Depending on price, availability, schedules, it could be more. Patience is not my strong suit and once I commit to doing something, I want to progress reasonably rapidly.
Instructor should be an experienced professional.
