I speak German and English, can read Hebrew and Yiddish and am interested in learning French. I've just started a few months ago, but have access to the Rosetta Stone program, which I'm making frequent use of and a few other programs such as Vokabetrainer from Digital Publishing. I've just started to teach a French-Englis h pupil to play the piano, and I think it would help me to explain some concepts if I could speak French.

Hello my name is Emily and I am 15 years old. I have chosen to study Korean and Mandarin Chinese because I am interested in the cultures and language. I also believe this will aid me in college prep and entrance requirements, not to mention my future career plan to be an ESL teacher.
At the moment my Korean and Chinese are almost non-existant, so I'll need help on everything. I'ved been trying to self teach myself through books and online chatting.
I am willing to dedicate quite a bit of my time to this endeavor as it is something that I am truely interested in.
Some qualities I am looking for in a teacher are: a strong desire to teach and a good student repoir, strong organization, variety in lesson plans, excellent English language proficiency, sense of humor and approachabili ty/ease of interaction.
