I came from the Philippines as a young boy and my family did not pass down the language. I do understand quite a bit, but am not comfortable with speaking.
I would like my family to learn Tagalog together. My wife and children know nothing of the language, but are very interested in learning. Initially we are only interested in conversation and then progressing to fluency and the ability to read and write properly.
We are looking for a teacher than can come to our home in Mission Viejo (Orange County) or somewhere close by. We want to learn as a family and have 3 children 5 years old and under, so the ability to teach multiple levels is useful.
We are willing to make Tagalog a part of our everyday life if we can have the guidance.
