I am a beginner at Swahili. I am looking to learn Swahili both because I am interested in the language and because I am looking to spend a semester abroad in Kenya during college. I need improvement in all areas, but grammar is probably what needs the most attention. I would like to dedicate one night a week or so to my lessons. Dear Sirs, My wife and I have been appointed by the African Inland Mission to the southwest Lake Victoria area of Tanzania. I am a physician/chu rch planter and my wife is an elementary school teacher here in the US. I am 54 and she is 50. We plan to attend orientation in Nairobi in late June,2008 then would like to proceed to full-time language school at you facility in mid-July if possible. We would expect to be there for 3-4 months and will be beginners. We would like to become proficient as soon as possible so that we can get started in the field as long-term missionaries. We would like the teacher to be dedicated to helping us accomplish this goal efficiently as well to become familiar with the peoples of Tanzania and their culture. Thank you.
