I have some basic knowledge of Japanese, however it is limited to 'survival' and not very good for conversation. I would really like to improve my Japanese language ability.
I f there is a Japanese language teacher that needs help with their English, I am happy to help there also, perhaps we could exchange languages.
In addition to Japanese, I am very interested in learning Chinese wether it be Mandarin or Cantonese as well as Thai. Spoken Language is fine for Thai, however I would also like to learn written Chinese if possible.
I would prefer one on one lessons, at my home is fine or at the teacher's home. I live near Busch Gardens / USF in a quiet and safe neighborhood.
I would like to begin learning as soon as possible. I am able to dedicate one to two hours per week to learning with my teacher.

I WOULD LIKE TO FIND A TUTOR FOR THE JAPANESE LANGUAGE AND CULTURE. I HAVE A CHILD VERY EAGER TO LEARN THE LANGUAGE FOR FUTURE ABROAD STUDIES IN JAPAN. I ALSO HAVE TWO TODDLERS THAT WILL BE RUNNING AROUND DURING SESSIONS, SO WHY NOT TEACH THEM A SECOND LANGUAGE TOO. I AM WILLING TO PAY FEE + GAS FOR ONE DAY A WEEK SESSIONS (PREFER SATURDAYS).

I am a girl interested in learning Japanese. I am at the beginning level, most likely the least possible level. I would like to learn Japanese because the Japanese culture has always fascinated me and I hope to someday pursue a career involving Japan, and a knowledge of the language would certainly help me reach that goal. I also want to be able to enter a Japanese II course in a few years time, so I must be adequately prepared. I would need schooling in all areas of the Japanese language- conversation, writing, reading... All of it. I could dedicate a few hours on Saturday or Sunday for lessons, but most likely not any days during the week because my workload is already very heavy. I am a very goal-oriented and hard working student, so you could be sure that I would not take lessons lightly. I would like for my instructor to be someone who can understand the workload I am already under and will try his or her best to help me along as needed. I am aware that Japanese will be challenging, so I need someone kind and supportive to guide me through the difficulties. Most importantly, my teacher would need to be nearby, in the area surrounding Dallas, so that I can easily take lessons in person. Please help teach me!

I am a beginner. i have been attempting to learn for a couple of years by self study, but can only get so far without instruction. my main problem at the moment is conversationa l skills because i have no one that speaks the language to practice with. I am very eager to learn and would happily dedicate a couple hours a week for lessons, and would love a tutor that is easy to work with and fun. i have the nakama I text book and a friend that is learning as well.

I'm a beginner who has been trying to learn on her own. I have the Nakama 1 text book and am about half way through, but I need help with conversaition skills, though I don't know how badly because I don't know anyone who speaks Japanese. I'd like to practice at least several hours a week with instruction, and more on my own free time. I'm looking for a private instructor who can easily work around my crazy schedule and is a lot of fun! Also, I have a friend who is also trying to learn and would like instruction as well.
