I am learning French because I have always wanted a second language. I do think it will enhance my career prospects also. I am somewhere between beginner and intermediate and need particular improvement in conversation as most of my learning is self-taught with no one to talk to and work on my accent with me. I think I would be able to dedicate about an hour a week initially. Qualities I am looking for in my lesson and teacher: patience and fun.

I am currently studying Open University French, Intermediate. I have not studied for 12 years and I am struggling with listening and speaking especially.

I am a student at the University of Aberdeen. Im on my third year on Juniour Honours in MA in management and international relations.
As I would like to focus my career on European Union I would like to start learning french and in a year and a half be able to communicate. I am a determined and hard working person. I would like to find a tutor that would help me to learn french. At the moment I do not speak french at all, beside the famouse phrase from the song from Moulin Rouge... I learnt English very quickly and I am hoping I will learn French quick enough.
I wish to learn and I am hoping I will manage to learn French. My timetable is flexible and I have two days off University so I will have a lot of time to learn.

Career advancement, as I am looking to learn Russian and Ukranian so that I when I graduate from my Masters degree I can then go to Russia or Ukraine to teach english, work at orphanages, children's shelter's and street children therefore it is essential that I can speak the language! Also this summer I am returning to Perm, to work with a childrens charity loves bridge, where I worked this winter, and need to learn as much as I can as quickly as I can to enable me to have a larger and more positive impact on the lives of the children. My proficiency is still at beginner level, and I have to improve in all areas grammar, conversation and writing. The qualities I am looking for is preferably a native speaker, whom can teach me in person but also help to advance and expand my knowledge during my free time.
