I wish to visit Wales for a fairly long period I am presently learning (as a beginner) from a CD course called Speak Welsh with Confidence. I wish mainly to have converstional Welsh. I can dedicate 10 or more hours a week to study.
I enjoy learning languages. Dutch was my first language (when I was Quite small), although I still remember lots of it. I studied French for a number of years, know basic Spanish and a dusting of Portuguese; as well I have taken beginner courses in Irish and Scottish gaelic and
Serbo-Croat ian. I wish to learn on-line using Skype, as this is the
method used with Croatian (one-on-one), and Scottish gaelic (in a group of 8). I prefer the latter,as I will meet people online to speak in Welsh with, beyond the class class setting.

Good Day,
My name is Diane van der Hoeven and I am 64 years of age. I am english and have been living in South Africa for 45 years and now that I have time on my hands wish to do something different and interesting. I have always been interested in learning Welsh and now that I have nothing to do have decided to following my wish if it is available to me.
I am a total beginner and am not yet senile. I am still able to drive, see, hear, speak and do all the things that I have done for many years, just slower.
I am looking for a teacher of the welsh language who will have patience with me.
