I'm trying to learn japanese because i'm trying to keep myself busy for the summer and eventually through college. I'm very interested in the japanese language and culture and i'm looking forward to learning more about Japan. I'm a beginner and I want to learn Japanese grammar and conversation. I definitely want to learn japanese long term. I'm looking for a teacher who can do private lessons and i also want a teacher who can give me interesting ways to learn japanese.

I've got level 1bn JLPT and lived in Japan for 3 years. I'm pretty good but want to be more fluid and natural.
M y business Japanese is also not great. I would like to be comfortable in keigo. I did win the Jetro business Japanese prize in 2008 but think I was lucky!
Fin ally i'd like to be a bit more comfortable with old fashioned Japanese and understand every word of samurai epics;)

I am planning to take a Scout party of 40 people to Germany in July 2004 and need to be able to talk some of the language to get by.I have an OCR level 1 grade but can't find a course to follow it.
I need to be able to confidently seek directions from people, and be able to hold general conversations .
