I'm learning Korean because I just love languages of all kinds and I want to move to South Korea for college. I am just a beginner, but I know a couple words and a lot about the culture of Korea. I feel that I want to attend a Korean university, so I need to know the language very well. I want to spend two, three, or four days a week learning Korean so it will stay in my head better. In my teacher, I am looking for a patient, kind person who will not get mad if I get something wrong.

I am a beginner in learning the Korean language. I have bout the Integrated Korean textbook and workbook for beginning 1 and I have been trying to practice from there. I would like to spend at least 3-4 hours a week on my language lessons.

I was adopted from Korea 26 years ago. Speaking Korean was forbidden in my adopted parents home, so as you might know, if you don't use it, you lose it. I've now reunited with my long lost brother whom I haven't seen since I was placed in an orphanage after our parents death 30 years ago. I would love to be able to have a conversation with him freely. Now that I've found my family again, I want to be able to communicate with him and also his wife and 2 kids. It is very important to me that I start learning this language ASAP!

I would like to learn for personal reasons and possibly for employment if I can get good enough. I believe my level is intermediate or advance beginner. I have the basics of grammar covered as I've studied on my own with books. But conversation skill is seriously lacking, since the books don't talk to me.
