I am a beginner with almost no understanding of the russian language. I would like to learn russian beacause I am very interested in the language, the culture, and the people of Russia. I also look forward to traveling in Russia in the future and it would be nice to be able to communicate with the people there. I am curently attending the University of Minnesota. I have taken one year of Italian language there, and some Italian culture as well as Ancient Italian and Roman history. I am interested in becoming fluent in the Italian language, however need to take other classes at the U of M during the time slots that the Italian class is offered. I would like to work on becoming more fluent grammatically and to improve my vocabulary and accent. I would also like to learn how to write and read Italian better. I am exploring all my options and would like to take this oppurtunity to open myself to the possibility of hiring a private tutor.
