Hi, I am Maya doing my masters in computers. I want to learn telugu because of my keen interest for learning spoken language. I really like the language very much and I have gone through book learning telugu in 30 days. However I want to be able to speak fluently. I can dedicate daily 1-2 hours to learn my lessons.
As for the qualities in my teacher, I expect that he or she be a good human being with willingness to teach. Someone who can help me in speaking language fluently - I should be able to converse the way any telugu person would.

My Proficiency Level is that of a Beginner. I'm learning this language to communicate easily with my clients in Russia and CIS countries. I feel I need to give emphasis on understanding the language better and in the process, making our client understand what we are saying. So, this includes grammar, conversation, style, etc. I want to dedicate about 3 - 6 months time for learning this language.
My tutor should be knowledgeable about the country's culture, its people, food, and of course, the language. She should not have any doubt at any stage of teaching the language.
