I have been learning Korean for the past year in the Korean Cultural Center. I am in the advanced level but I don't think I am actually learning much. I can't even carryout a conversation. I think the program is not well designed for non-heritage speakers and I want to take private lessons to really practice conservation, grammer and reading. I am learning Korean just for fun. I have learned a few other languages but nothing really to the point I can speak fluently. I want to stick with one language and learn until I can speak fluently. My goal is to take the Korean proficency exam and at least pass the basic beginner level for now. I am looking for a teacher who is experienced in teaching non-heritage speakers and is a native speaker. The teacher should practice conversation with me and prepare lessons with a curriculum that will help me reach my goal.

Seeking a teacher for a 7th grade student for Fall 2007, beginner level. We would appreciate the basics in Arabic for speaking and writing with long term results for a second language.
We would like to dedicate approximately one hour a day or two to five days a week, not including homework and study.
