My proficiency in Hindi is intermediate. i can communicate with people here without much problem, but my hindi still has some problems grammatically and there's a lot of spoken hindi that i don't know.
I am learning this language because i want not only to simply be able to talk to my family, but, because i'm doing my medical schooling here, i need to be able to talk to my peers in hindi, and i find my peer's hindi to be the toughest to follow.
Ar eas that i need improvement would be grammar and conversation. i don't plan to learn any proper or scholarly hindi, as that doesn't suit me any purpose. i really need to learn good conversationa l hindi so i can talk to people here and not seem like a foreigner that has learned the language half-heartedl y.
I am a medical school student, and medical school has a demanding schedule, so i don't have so much time to dedicate to it, but as for lessons at least 2 hours a week.
Qualities i'm looking for in a teacher are helpfulness, ability to quickly understand my problem, and creativity in helping me overcome those mistakes and speaking good, fast hindi.

I am a 24 year old guy from Assam. So, my mother tongue is Assamese, however as the option Assamese was absent in the drop down menu for native language, I have put Hindi instead. I am now in Hyderabad, working for a software company called Satyam Computer Services. During my work, I have realised that I need to know Telugu as most of the senior people in the company are from Andhra and prefer to speak in Telugu. Although, now I interact with them in English, I feel that it would be nice if I could speak in the language they love.
I would not be able to spare any time on the weekdays from Monay to Friday. It would be great if I can find a teacher who can spare his time during Saturday and Sunday to learn the Telugu language.
