I am a beginner looking to learn Icelandic. I have visited Iceland various times in the past - and will be returning there in November 2017 - and have always felt such a connection with the country and its people. I find Icelandic to be such an ethereal and dulcet language and I would consider it such a privilege to be able to speak it. This coupled with the fact that I would like to be able to return to Iceland at least every year or so in the future has prompted me to want to learn the language.
Being a complete beginner, I will require a teacher who can assist me with learning all aspects of the Icelandic language - grammar, conversation, etc. I would be willing to dedicate a couple of nights per week to lessons and learning
I have some experience with speaking basic Russian, Italian and German.
I would like a teacher who is friendly, open and passionate about the language they are teaching. They will provide honest feedback and encouragement .

I have always wanted to learn to speak proper Spanish as I have a background in the language. I come from the south and speak Chabacano which I believe is a Spanish Creole.
I would need help in the areas of grammar and conversation.
I will be in the Philippines for four weeks and I am interested in attending lessons in a classroom setting. After this, I will continue on online or video lessons when I return to Sydney.
I would appreciate it if the person teaching me is patient and does not pressure students.
