I am currently an exchange student in the Netherlands, and in 2010 plan to return to Australia to study my final year of school. I've learnt a little bit of Dutch this year (enough to speak with my family/friend s/get around) and would like some help to study Dutch as a year 12 subject. I'm not very good at Dutch grammar, although very willing to learn. I think around 1 hour a week is sufficent, although as I have not yet began the course in Australia (I'm still in Holland) I'm unsure as to the standard needed. I would like my classes to be face-to-face and I go to the University High School in Parkville, so I'm looking for classes not much further than 15 minutes from the city.

I have recently formed a Joint Venture Company with a medium-scale engineering firm in The Netherlands. For this reason, I have started travelling quite frequently to The Netherlands and Belgium, staying there for up to 2 weeks at a stretch and interacting closely with my collaborators and other locals. I also have interest in studying some technical books written in dutch language which relate to my area of specializatio n. Therefore, I want to start learning dutch.
I have no prior exposure to the language and I want to start learning dutch as a beginner.
I want to become proficient both in written and spoken dutch (including grammer).
I can spare 3-4 hours every week spred over 2 days or so.
The teacher should have good experience in teaching dutch.
