I have taken a little bit of Hindi, but I am a new beginner to Sanskrit which is the language in which I am most interested. I live in Chicago, Illinois in the United States, but I am looking to travel to north India for a few months to study Hindi and Sanskrit. I am learning these languages for preparation for graduate school. I would like to dedicate at least 5 hours a week to each language. I am looking for a teacher who caters to my needs.

-I have been learning Chinese for one semester at college level.
-Le arning languages is one of my biggest passions. I learned German and studied in Germany and wanted to learn a more challenging and different language. I am planning to study and teach in Beijing in the near future.
-C onversation. I am still enrolled at a Chinese course at FCCJ, the pace of the class is much too slow. The class is also near twenty students so I almost never am able to practice speaking. I really want to improve my conversationa l ability as much as possible.
-As much as you recommend, this is my primary focus.
-My primary concern is that the teacher wants to teach and knows how to guide me along. I am willing to put in the effort required, but I want the teacher to be able to focus me effectively and progress me in an effective way.
