My level would be probabably basic, but I am really willing to improve it. I would like to learn portuguese because of a lot of reasons, actually. It will be another positive aspect for my future work, as far as I am studying Hotel Management, every language is worth knowing. I would like to learn conversation mostly, but grammar as well. I would like to have two lessons per week for about months. I would like someone proffesional and someone who knows how to teach easily not just read a book and that is it. I need a competante person, who knows how to give his knowledge further.

I have taken a years basic Portuguese lessons and tried a short conversation class with a Brazilian teacher, but these lessons were not well supported and finished. My son and his family are living in Brazil and I spent a month there last year. I want to be able to chat to my daughter-in-l aws's family and to my little Grandson, whose first language is Portuguese. He is nearly two and already has some English as well but I want to do this for my daughter-in-l aw and her family. I have 'A' levels in French and Spanish and a linguistic based degree so hope I will be ableto learn reasonably quickly.
