I am pretty much a beginner in Finnish, I just moved here with my wife who is originally from here. I know a lot of word but am pretty bad at putting together a sentence to actually converse with another person. We recently had a baby and I am going to be starting work here soon, so I would like to be able to communicate more easily with the people around me. Right now I can study whenever, but if I get a job soon I don't know when the hours would be. I would like to be able to learn from the tutor, instruction in conversing with people, this is my worst part of the language.

Hello my name is Maria and I come from Finland. I would like to learn Amharic because my mother is originally from there. I can say I know some basics like numbers and I alphabets etc. I would like to learn to speak that language (conversation ) and make my vocabulary much more bigger and also I would like to learn the grammar, so basically what I want is just to learn how to speak Amharic. I will come to the US in October- November time, so I would hope that you could give some lessons then.I was thinking of maybe 4hours a per week and maybe all together 3 weeks. Qualities that I hope from the teacher is a lot of patience and a warm smile to keep be going and also that my teacher would really help be learn the language.

I am an English speaker looking forward to advance my language skills in English and most probably learn Finnish too to an advanced level. I want to learn the languages so that I can advance my career and work in an organisation which would require a certificate to prove my proficiency in the English language, especially. I would need emphasis on the grammar, conversation and written parts of the language. I am available during the day and so would like to dedicate all my efforts to learning an intensive course. I would like to get a teacher who knows what he/ she would be teaching and who is more challenging to enable my speedy learning and understand.

My name is Hanna Yogaswaran. I´m married to Malaysian tamil and we have three children.
My level in tamil is beginner. I would like to learn tamil to talk to my in laws and family in Malaysia and to some friends we have in India. My plan and my biggest hope is to have teacher to teach me and our children esp our oldest boy who is 7 years and don´t know one word of his fathers familys language. Of course we manage in English, but I think this would be very important for all of us. My husband is talking English to our children so our teatcher could use English as teaching language.
I think suitable time could be app. two hours per week maybe once two hours or twice an hour/week.
I hope our teacher could make the learning interesting for child/childre n.
