I am a South African Indian of Telugu descent. I would like to learn Telugu to become more cultured and to hopefully one day travel to Andhra Pradesh to learn more about Andhra culture.
I am a beginner and have no real grasp of the Telugu language. Therefore i will require someone who is able to teach from the basics.
I currently have a very demanding career, maiking it difficult to set aside as much time as i would like to spend on learing Telugu, however i would like to spend about 2 hours a week on lessons and hopefully as time goes on increase this amount.
My teacher will have to be able to speak English and will need to be paitent, because i doubt i will be able to get the dialect correct for a while.

I did study some Chinese years ago for my degree at SOAS and Beijing Yuyan Xueyuan. Forgot most of it. Would like to refresh it, also with reading and writing. Normally living in Stilbaai, so could thereafter take course online but currently in Stellenbosch until Sept. 2014.
