I am an Interior Architecture student. I plan to either further my studies in Germany or Italy, depending on a number of factors. I have travelled to Europe and have acquired the basics but is still a beginner in both languages.

I come from a town where everyone knows german, my family now is speaking german and all my friends are fluent in german and to me it is a very beautiful language and I want to be fluent in it to. I am a beginner I can only understand some words and I want to be able to have a conversation fluently in german. I would dedicate as much time needed to be able to speak the language, weeks, months etc. And I'm looking forward to having a teacher who is able to break past the barrier of understanding and who is able to make me feel fully german.

As a south african citizen it's imperative to atleast know one african language, for business and personal purposes. It's also a career advancement. I'm a beginner, conversation is where i would most likely want to excell in once or twice a week I think will be sufficient for 1/2 hours. My teacher should be patient, have teaching qualities, must be able to develop me and be deadline driven, results oriented and efficient and effective in their teaching abilities, must have knowledge about the language and have proven records.
