My proficiency level is beginner. I am learning Cantonese Mandarin in order to get more involved in my culture as I am of Chinese heritage, born in the island of Trinidad. I am a beginner at french. However I did make it to french 3 while in high school. Some I remember, but alot I dont know because the teacher didnt really take the time to teach me. The teacher just wanted me to pass her class. I want to learn this language because I've already started a passion, and I must finish it.I need improvement in grammar,conve rsation,I need to also learn how to read and write french.Two hours three days a week is my deducation time. I wanna be a smoothe talker,and I dont want people to think Im an american unless I tell them.

I'm originally from Germany and have lived in the US for quite a while. I have a fascination with languages which has led me to learn Spanish and French along. I am currently interested in learning Russian. I would prefer to learn in person, so I would love to find a tutor or Russian class that I can attend here in Chicago.
