I am a beginner and am looking to learn the language so that I can communicate with friends and their families in their native language. I would like the most help in conversation because I don't know how often I would need to read or write. I will spend as much time as necessary to become fluent. I am looking for lessons/teach er that will work with me on the proper pronunciation and give real life examples for certain sounds and characteristi cs of the language, ie: different 'c'.

Hello,
I am a complete beginner, having never studied Farsi before, but I have had previous language training in French and Mandarin so I am familiar with foreign-langu age tuition methods and practices.
I intend to use my Farsi abilities to advance my career and intend to study Farsi until I am at the advanced level in both reading and speaking.
I am looking for a native-speaki ng teacher who is comfortable teaching both oral and written Farsi. I am tentatively thinking of one to two one hour sessions with the tutor each week, and plan on spending approx. one hour per day in private study; however this can be adjusted based on your requirements. I am willing to put as much time into my studies as necessary to advance me quickly into an intermediate proficiency and then build my range of skills from there.
