I will like to live in Russia with my friend for a while at least.
We will travel a little as well. It is important for me to understand and speak the language.
I'm a beginner and will like to concentrate mainly on conversation.
I will like at least 2 or more lessons per week.
The qualities I'm looking for?? I will like a teacher that will guide me is speaking and understanding Russian how it is commonly used everyday, but not wast to much time on the areas of the language that I will not really benefit me.

I would like to learn Mandarin in conjunction with my 2 year old son (with a focus on his language needs) as this is a phase where he will best absorb languages and I believe is the best time for him to learn a language that is so very different from Western-based languages.
His only current exposure has been through a set of Mandarin DVDs for children called Muzzy.
I would like to learn the language both for my personal benefit and for use in my career.
