I would like to learn how to speak Bulgarian as I spend a great deal of my time there visiting friends who have moved. I am a complete beginner but am very serious about learning how to have a conversation in Bulgarian. At present I am an English teacher so I know all about hard work. I would like to learn the Bulgarian language as my wife is Bulgarian and speaks fluent English.
I would like to be able to go to Sofia and be able to converse with my friends there.
I have a book and cassette on the Bulgarian language. I know the Bulgarian alphabet and can read in Bulgarian but do not know the meaning of the words
I would like to spend as much time as possible to learn the language.
I would like the quality of the tutor to be very good.

Hello, my name is Trevor and I am hoping to learn Bulgarian. My reasons for wanting to learn, my partner is Bulgarian and yup your wondering why she doesnt teach me:)) Fact is she is too busy with her job as she works long hours. Anyway, her parents and family are still living in Bulgaria and when I finally meet them I would like to at least be able to say a few sentances in Bulgarian as they dont speak English.
I hope that someone can help me. I am looking for live one to one lessons or group lessons in the London areas.
