My proficiency level is beginner, if you could even call it that.
The reason I wish to learn Korean, is I plan to travel to South Korea to teach English.
T he areas that I feel need improvement would be everything! Although, the most important to me would just be conversationa l Korean, and as much as the basics for maneuvering around in country.
I have enough free time to dedicate up to 4 hours in a weekday evening and usually most of the day(s) on weekends.
I do not wish to, or attempt to learn a romanized teaching form, I would prefer one on one skills.

My proficiency level is beginner, and a friend of mine who wants to learn with me is intermediate. I want to learn Japanese because I am going to apply to the Jet Program for 2007. My partner is planning on spending a lot of time in Japan while I am there and has been teaching herself Japanese on and off for 5 years. We are both willing to dedicate at least two to three days a week learning. We are both willing to travel to Orlando to learn. We are serious! Most important qualities preferred in teacher include passion for the language and culture, and a willingness to answer questions

I've taught myself japanese for around 4 years, and i should be better than I am, lack of disipline and routine! I learn quickly, and have a good grasp on the language so far, i just need more verbs, and conversation. and as far as hearing someone speak it goes, I can type it better?
