Hello,
Curr ently I am at the intermediate level of Spanish speaking. I have taken several classes in both high school and college so a good foundation is there, however, since I've been in the Air Force for almost 8 years I have 'lost' much of what I learned. Occasionally when I'm around people who speak it fluently, I can easily get back into it.
It is my goal to learn Spanish fluently because I believe it is a beautiful language! I also live in a area where Spanish is just as prevalent as English, and speaking both languages will be very helpful in my career as well as my ability to communicate effectively with people of my communinty.
I would like to have lessons a few times each week, but would also like to have the opportunity to continue my learning at home on a regular basis.
The qualities I am looking for in my lessons and instructor are as follows: I would like a challenging environment with emphasis on basic, conversationa l, and written Spanish. I would like to have rigorous instruction in all areas and be taught by an understanding , yet strict instructor.
